My name is Gabriel Gélinas.

For many years now I have enjoyed woodworking. My interests have varied from Intarsia to sculpting to cabinet making. Each of these activities required using different tools. The one tool which I have found to be the most enjoyable to work with was the router. The precision that I was able to obtain with this tool is what made it my favourite. I now invite you to visit my gallery. There you will see the type of work I was able to make. In most of the projects at least 75% of the work was done with the router.

Today I would like to introduce you to my router & Jig seminar. The majority of woodworkers own a router. In most cases the router is used approximately 5% to 10% of its capacity. After you have taken 3 days hands on course, the techniques learned during the course will enable you to use you router to 70% of its capacity.

The first day will be devoted to a discussion on safety. We will then discuss the different types of routers available on the market and the different router bits.

We will then immediately start using the router. Projects #1 #2 #3 will be completed during this first day.

By the end of three days you will have completed all projects shown on the course project icon. Each project is designed to learn one or more new technique.
